Election Date: November 15, 2025
Total Proposed Funding: $510 Million
Note: This is not a new tax or an increase. The existing $14.5-mill property tax would continue to be used to repay bonds over time.
What Is a Bond Proposition?
A bond proposition authorizes the City to issue bonds a type of long-term financing to fund major capital improvements.
-
Bonds are repaid through the existing debt service millage already in place.
-
The funds are separate from the City’s operating budget, so essential services are not affected.
-
Oversight and transparency are required, with Council review and advisory committees monitoring spending.
