Barriere Construction crews broke ground on the $23M Bayou St John, Fairgrounds, Seventh Ward Group B infrastructure improvement  project in December 2020. In March, in close collaboration with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, crews began drainage work including test closures throughout the project. These test closures are in preparation for future waterline tie-ins. Crews are also working on roadway and sidewalk restoration work.

Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC crews have begun waterline work on the $13.6M Broadmoor Group A project. Crews continued waterline test closures as well as full water line tie-ins, and also began working on roadway and sidewalk restoration.

This month, Hard Rock Construction, Co., LLC, crews began road excavation and sewer line replacements on North St. Anthony, Iberville, and North St. Patrick streets in the $24.4M Mid-City Group B project.

The $5.1M Octavia Street (Freret-Claiborne) project is set to begin construction in April 2021. This project was designed by Richard C. Lambert Consultants, LLC and will be constructed by Command Construction Industries, LLC. City of New Orleans engineers are working with Command Construction Industries, LLC to finish sidewalk and curb construction at the Hagan Lafitte Drainage project.
