Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC has mobilized a construction crew on Lacour Monique Street from Rue Delphine to Rue Colette streets, and Eton Street from Berkley Drive to Lacour Monique Street in the Bocage neighborhood. The $400,000 project is scheduled to last approximately two months.
The project scope of work includes:
- Removing and replacing damaged concrete panels;
- Installing new Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant curb ramps at appropriate intersections;
- Making minimal sidewalk, driveway apron and foot lap adjustments; and
- Completing catch basin repairs and drainage repairs.
Throughout the duration of construction, parking may be limited within the construction zone. Please plan to park at other locations and expect traffic delays/additional time to reach your destination.
In general, construction crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday work may occur when inclement weather impacts the regular schedule. Residents are reminded to use caution when driving, bicycling and walking near active construction sites.
