The Crescent City Connection isn't just a bridge—it's a canvas that reflects the spirit of New Orleans. From red, white and blue on Independence Day to purple, green and gold on Mardi Gras, each lighting tells a story.

Whether celebrating a holdiday, raising awareness, or honoring an organization, the bridge connects us through color and light.

Permanent Lighting Schedule

The schedule below outlines the permanent lighting calendar for the Crescent City Connection (CCC), featuring holidays and observances when the bridge is illuminated in specific colors. This calendar does not include special event lighting requests.

Lighting Schemes

There are four “levels” of programming, the cost for each covers the design, programming and implementation of the selected scheme. Fees charged shall be for the first day of lighting. For each day thereafter the fee shall be fifty percent of the first day’s fee.

Costs

Level Cost Description
Basic $ 1,000.00 Necklace and piers and all trusses are the same color. Includes design and programming.
Enhanced $3,000.00 Up to 2 colors. For example, necklace and piers color #1 and all trusses color #2. Includes design, programming, and one site visit.
Advanced $6,000.00 Up to four colors. For example, necklace – color #1, piers color#2, vertical trusses color #3 and diagonal trusses color #4. Includes design, programming, and one site visit.
Custom Dynamic $12,000.00 Custom would cover any dynamic (moving) scenes (limitations of speed of dynamic movement to not distract drivers/mariners) and any scenes more than the basic, enhanced, or advanced.  Custom scenes would have an allowance of (16) hours of custom programming from the manufacturer. In the event the 16 hours were expended programming will be billed hourly after that at $300 an hour for any additional programming changes. Includes design, programming, and two site visits.

Personal Requests include Birthdays, anniversaries, gender reveals, etc.
Please give a short description of your event. Include purpose, occasion, or reason for the event. Describe any special requirements for this event like multiple dates or sensitivities.
Please note: We do not accept lighting requests more than 12 months in advance of the requested lighting date.
50% Off Additional Days: Each extra day added to your reservation is 50% off the daily rate of your selected Level.
Please note: Our committee does not process applications until 3 months before the lighting.
